Evolution Racewerks F30 Oil Cooler Released!!! PICS INSIDE!!!

Evolution Racewerks F30 Oil Cooler will be releasing soon!

The details I got so far from ER are as follows...

The oil cooler features are as follows:
· Large 9"x8"x2" (11"x8"x2" with end tanks) Oil Coolers
· Over 350% larger capacity than the factory oil cooler
· Optional Aluminum Shrouding to direct airflow through the oil coolers for improved efficiency
· Made in USA.
· Limited Lifetime Warranty of all manufacturers’ defects.

Will come in anodized black or standard finish and there will be an optional shroud kit available.

I had one of these in my previous E92...worked quite well, but I eventually swapped the nylon-braided lines for the braided steel ones. Not sure how the oil lines are routed up to the oil filter/thermostat block on an F30 application, but be really careful to use tie-wraps to keep them from rubbing against anything, particularly the sharp screw ends that secure the plastic underbody shield.

Sounds nice. I've noticed the oil temps in my F30 in the killer southern heat are around 250*F, never really noticed them getting higher than that.

I assume by the description that it connects to the OEM oil supply. Does it include a thermostatic valve? Is this part suited for cars that are mostly tracked?

I've run oil coolers on many of my other cars (mainly Honda & Nissan) since they are really sensitive to oil temps but noticed that the cooler kit I installed on my 370Z kept oil temps very low until the car was driven a while. Even with street driving the temps never really got warm.

They all have oil coolers, it's just most of the non M's have a heat exchanger on the block that is cooled by coolant. I'm hoping they have an adaptor plate to remove the heat exchanger and install an oil to air.
