428GC 437M reps

Finally was able to get some more pics of my 428GC with 437M reps and 50% tint all around. I went with a square setup 19X 8.5 because I couldn't find 19 X 9.5 with the right offset. I want to be close to OEM as possible and didn't like too aggressive of a rear.

Tires are 225/40/19. If I could do it over I would have went with a little wider tire.

Looking good, but as you mentioned 245/35-19 or 245/40-19 square would have been perfect!

The 225/40 tire seems to be listed at every shop as the right stock size. The amount of stretch with the 225 is starting to bug me since the wheel lips are exposed.

I test fitted 245/40/19 and the clearance in the front was too close for comfort to the front plastic fender for me when turning the wheel all the way.

For looks and functionality would 245/35/19 or 235/40/19 be a better choice to stay close to original size and be wide enough not to have stretch.

Nice! Where did you buy the wheels? What offset? I agree 19x8.5 square is a good choice. Plus, now you can rotate your tires.

I think 235/40/19 is about perfect on an 8.5" wide wheel for the F3x; 225/40 is stock but on an 8" wide wheel, so 235 helps match the extra .5" in width.

Thanks. The wheels are 19 X 8.5 +35. Are stock 19" F3x wheels only 8" wide?

I agree 235 40 19 might be the way to go.

Most stock 19" F3x setups are 8" wide in front and 8.5" in back.

Still enjoying your setup? Another forum member bought a similar setup except 19x9.5 +40 in the back but did the same 225/40 tire on the 19x8.5 front wheel and thinks it is a good fit.

Yes enjoying the setup, its a decent fit........ but would still do 235/40/19 if I replace.

Thanks had the car lowered with AC Schnitzer Springs. Subtle drop still looks close to OEM

Hmm nice square set up there. I've got similar setup on my E46.
It's on a square M5 rep with spec 8.5 width and offset 35, 225/40/18.

But somehow it just didn't look right..Feels like the front wheel is sticking out more than the rear lol. I think I may just go back to the stock staggered Style 68 with 225 front and 245 rear. I just can't give up the staggered look.

Consider concentric hub spacers in the rear?
