Suggestions for meaty wheel set-up for 440i xDrive
Hello-
Not seeing threads where there are discussions on meaty wheel set-ups for the F32 xDrive (unless I'm not looking hard enough) and wanted to create a thread. I found a video of someone running a meaty set-up on an F30 340i but wasn't sure how comparable it is to the 440i in terms of fitment. My current set-up: Front: 19x8.5+35 235/40r19 Rear: 19x10+40 265/35r19 Future set-up Front: 18x9+30 235/45r18 Rear: 18x9.5+35 265/40r18 I feel like there wouldn't be any issues but I'd like other people's input before I throw money at these wheels I'm looking at. My car is lowered on lowering springs no issues currently with rubbing but with the roads here in Kansas City there are soo many pot holes and the ride is rough with the 19's. Thanks! |

There is a specific area on this forum for wheels and tires.
Search there and or post this question there, you probably will get a quicker response. I know it has been discussed many times on what sizes fit better than others. I just haven't committed it to memory yet. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=423 |

How are you defining “meaty”? I’ve heard “Meaty” used to mean wider rear tires, or tire sizes that have higher sidewalls.
My favorite look is actually a Square 255/40-18 over 18x8.5” ET40/ET38/ET35. The 255 tread width looks great front & rear, so does this sidewall height which uses the stock tire diameter so speedometer is not affected. They are comfortable and handle great. See photo with APEX VS-5RS wheels. |
