Hmm just looked up the schedule of the ships.. kind of wondering if my car will be shipped on the 25th, seeing that's the first one going to the West Coast. I wonder what ship/transporter it will be going after that when it's being transported to HI... anyone any idea?

Here is the Wallenius Lines schedule from Bremerhaven to Port Heuneme. I would guess you will be on the 2/25 Totugas trip.

My car started production two days ago, so I think it will be tight to make that 2/25 ship.

For west coasters at the port like you gentlemen, I would guess it is going to be the Tortugas on 2/25. Like I said though, it could go on another line.

Yep, that's indeed what I figured as well that it would be the Tortugas when I checked it once my car came out of production. It would fit completely in my estimated schedule. Once it arrives in PH, on the 03/21, it will have to be there for a few days, then brought onto a different vessel and then to Hawaii (which add another week). All in all we could end up somewhere at the end of the first week of April, but more likely the 2nd week.

Like you said, they could be using a different transporter but most likely it will indeed be Wallenius, it just fits best into my whole schedule. Also I'm not sure about my port in California, again most likely it will be PH but since it has to go to Hawaii after, I have no idea lol

agreed, awesome Black Sapphire, I ordered the same.

Well it looks like my vehicle will either leave Bremerhaven on 2/21 or 2/26. This will put it in South Carolina on 3/12 or 3/20 which means that I am definitely looking at the end of March and will have to rent a car as the one I sold is being picked up on March 11th.

It might be here somewhere...

(took this cam pic from the Bremerhaven website: http://www.bremerhaven.de/webcams/, the picture seems to automatically update itself once in a while (just refresh the page after xx minutes )).

Waiting for stuff when it's out of your control like this sucks!

Not sure of my own timeline because my company manages that side of things. All I know is that my car was ordered in late December and I got an email today saying it was ready for delivery at my request. Trouble is, my current car lease doesn't expire until 30 April, so unless I want to pay for two cars at once (I don't) I have to wait patiently until 1 May knowing that my car is ready!!

I have visions of the guys in the prep centre driving it about for the next two months like the car park attendants if Ferris Bueller's Day Off!

Ain't that the truth lol.. and even worse, there are at least 3 more things that are out of my control like this that I have to wait for, some even without knowing at all when it is ending :S

lol I know, I'm so going to check my mileage when I get the car.. when it's more than when I got my other cars, they're going to get questions lol

edit: on a better note, the webcam image showed a lot of cars on a train last night, they seem to be gone now. But either way, my car is still awaiting a vessel :/

You have to put it in the 'cargo id' field on their track and trace page (which can be found under "customer centre"

From what I read, it will only display your car there if they actually have taken possession of the car and it might have a delay. Some people never have their car showing up there apparently while they still ship with WW but with a different operator.

My VIN doesn't show anything yet, unfortunately.. they get 3 more days (since it's the 22nd in Germany in about 30 minutes and it has to ship out on the 25th) to load my car, or else I will have to wait 2 weeks extra (next ship, if shipped with WW, is going March 10, and then I'm looking more to a late April, perhaps early May delivery... too scary this).

edit: this link might help too: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/h..._Ocean_GST.htm

edit2: that link did help me a little bit. When you use wildcards, such as the help page says you can do, you can see a LOT more cars and their statuses. It gave me the indication that they're not loading my ship yet, so that's probably why it's not showing up yet. Just do something like this in the cargo ID: WBA3A5C57C% (the first part of the vin is for many cars the same, the percentage makes it search for everything that starts like this. If your vin has a different start, then you can change it of course).

i also read that West Coast bound BMWs are often shipped with NYK lines instead of the East Coast bound BMWs on W&W?? can anyone comment on this?
