Lease Deal on 435i?

Shopping around for pricing on a 435i and got this quote from a leasing company.

MSRP: $62,355
Down: $3400 (includes first month + inception fees)
Terms: 10k/year - 36 month lease
Payment: $599/month (including tax)

What do you guys think?

Pretty good, I think you could maybe get another $500.00 off and you would be great!

Not enough information to tell you.

What is the residual for the vehicle?

What is the money factor/APR?

What incentives is he giving you?

Break out the "amount down" - what portion is fees (and what is the fee structure?), what portion is cash down against the capitalized cost?

Yes almost too good.
To get to that payment with tax would be at $55,000 cap cost.
Invoice is around $57,750 with maco and training.
Jump on that deal quickly.

the 3400 down seems to me like you're actually making a down payment to go along with inception fees and first month... My signing fees were like 1800... So, are you making a capital cost reduction?

Dude, go see Greg Poland at Pacific BMW in Glendale.... But I also think the OP made a Cap Cost reduction to bring down the cost of his monthly, i.e. he prepaid a portion of the lease to get the lease numbers correct....

Exactly.

None of these assumptions of it being "good" or "bad" are valid until we see all the facts.

Dealers are trained to distort the numbers to make your deal look good, but they'll hide every bit of profit in random areas.

That's a steep amount up front. Provide the lease details, otherwise we can't help you out.

Its actually pretty easy to evaluate it if those are really all the costs.

If you rolled the $3400 minus the first months payment into the lease you would add $82 a month making it $681 a month for a 0 down lease on a $62,500 car.

As i said previously probably not a real deal and more likely a lease broker trying to hook him in with an initial low offer.

Disagree. We don't know the sales tax structure for example, which could alter the monthly payment by $25-50 a month easily. That alone will skew the perspective.

Can we ballpark it? Yea, I guess. But why bother? To get a factual response, provide the facts.

Why bother? A 435i for that amount monthly with only $3400 down? Sign me up, I could care less about what portion is profit sales tax etc etc.

if this is true, then this is an excellent deal. Too good to be true. MSRP of 62K, only 3400 out of pocket (cap cost reduction, fees, etc), all equates to 600 a month? And that's with taxes in the monthly payment? Wow. I almost...allllmost want to call BS. Please let us know if this is what actually transpires at the end of the transaction. This would be a steal dude.

He said the sales tax was included in the $599.
In what scenario could you add another $25-$50 a month in tax to those numbers?
As I and someone else said probably BS.

You should never put a down payment down on a lease...it's prepaying. If something happens like what occurred to my mom and you're in an accident in the first week, and it's totaled, all that money is lost...
