First interior wrap!

Was going to spend 800 dollars to buy the OEM Carbon fiber trim but I thought about it and just concluded that I was dumb so I spent 45 bucks to get 2 rolls of 1'x5' 3m 1080p vinyl and did it myself! There are minor flaws if you look carefully but I'm just happy that I saved a heck ton.
The hardest part was probably taking trim off since it was my first time doing it and I definitely broke some plastic clamp on all of my door handles trim but the metal ones are fine so it's still good. Wrapping was lots of fun, the 3m stuff is super easy to work with. I personally did not have any exeperience and I just got my hands on it and turned out pretty well I believe.
Again. $45 vs. $800 I know it lacks the m performance thingy on the AC trim but for that kind of money saved, I'm not complaining at all

I still need to do my wheel (haven't looked at how to take it off yet) and my key (also haven't looked at taking it apart yet).

It gets a bit trickier on the dash pieces when you expose the silver (or blue in my case) trim piece that you covered up. I did my big dash piece a few times because I couldn't cut cleanly on a line I couldn't really see.

And I need to redo my shifter, that was all sorts of fail.

The wheel piece is really easy to pop up.. Even with bare hand lol just pop it from the back of the upper two sticks

I took pictures of the original trims before I wrapped then so once the vinyl was on, I could look at pics and cut lines, which was still a bit difficult, but much more doable

Does it really pop out that easily? I remeber reading instructions on the install for a replacement Cf one and it required removing the airbag and stuff. Because of that I didn't bother removing mine to wrap. But if it's that easy, I'm gonna give it a go too.

It's okay the silver trim. It's a relatively tiny piece of plastic lol

Pretty happy. Gonna wrap this tonight!

the only thing that would bother me is that the trim around the shifter and the rightside console trim have the pattern going opposite ways.

Crap realized when I tried installing it back that I broke a couple of the little clips! Now one corner (top right) doesn't clip in properly.

Can anyone tell me what the part number for this plastic insert/piece is? I'm going to buy a replacement and re-wrap that.

See steering wheel as OP has pictured above.
Thanks!

Looks very nice cf wrap! I've ordered small pieces of this 1080 cf vinyl and the DI-NOC cf vinyl as well to see which I prefer.

Only thing about yours is I'm really not sure about is the wrap covering the whole dash trim, it looks a bit odd covering the trim finisher along the bottom.

Yeah I figured. I actually just took the bottom silver trim part off so now it's got some nice contrast

Puh, to be honest, a full wrap is not my taste but yours. I would rate the overall quality of your work on a scale from 1 (best) to 5 with a 3 and tendency to a 4. Onto the upper center panel you had left a few blisters at the line step and the cut line at the right grille frame has a mismatch with the frame line. Also to mention is the different CF lines flow onto the lower center trim and the shifter panel, if that wasnt intented.
All in all a good job but you could sure easily do better
