Hey guys, the blacked out grill and window trims seem to be the way to go and slightly overplayed in my opinion. If you've maintained the chrome grills and the chrome bits on the front and rear bumper (luxury line) yet gone for the lowered aggressive look post em up!

black grills and trim aren't overplayed at all in my opinion. every other standard car has chrome all over it from trim to grill.

black (especially gloss black) trims and grill on the exterior of the car just make for much cleaner lines IMO

Bingo. Every car I've EVER owned came with all that chrome everywhere nonsense. 20 plus years of chrome is "overplayed". Thank you BMW for finally limiting that in some aspects. Very few car colors can even pull of chrome from the factory, but just about every color looks great with black accents. However, I do understand that this is something subjective. If YOU like chrome, more power to you. Black for me ALL DAY!!!

I love chrome on my 1965 Chevy truck when chrome was real, but not my 2013 BMW where chrome is plasti-chrome!
