Thanks for any advice and any links to the latest software.
Technically E-Sys can run on XP; however, E-Sys Launcher requires Win 7 or higher.

E-Sys Launcher 2.8 works fine without any manipulations.

Thanks Shawn - I guess that's the end of the road for my old XP laptop then.

I do have a Win 7 laptop that I can use so hopefully I can install esys 3.27 (I think) and the Launcher 2.80

I installed esys and the 2.80 loader on my Win7 laptop and it seems to start up fine, however the launcher states it's valid until 6/29/18 ie only a couple of months

Is this correct ?

I had thought the 2.80 launcher did not have any restrictions

Any feedback welcome

Yes, that is correct. I said no manipulation was needed, and that is true. Token Expiration is normal. I expect TM will release a new version with updated Token prior prior to end of June.

clarification on getting started guide

So on Step 17 of the first getting started guide it says "once all changes have been made, click save." Do I have to save each time I make a change or can I make multiple changes to functions and then save?

Same goes for activating FA (Step 19)... Can I make multiple changes in a module, save, make changes in another module, save, then activate FA, and then code each FDL? Or do I need to activate FA and code FDL each time I make a change within a module?

Sorry if my question is confusing I just want to make sure I'm not making this more difficult than it needs to be...

Make Multiple FDL changes to a Single ECU, then Save it and FDL Code it one time. Done. Move on to next ECU and repeat.

Thanks Shawn. I just tried to open up E-Sys Launcher Premium and it doesn't seem to be working. It is asking to generate a token but after I do that the program still doesn't start up. Any ideas? The last time I used it was early last year and it seemed to work fine back then.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Nvm just downloaded the new e-sys launcher 2.8.0.143

Is the F30 still F020? When I select that it prompts me saying F30 is F030...

E-Sys Launcher Car Series = F030
E-Sys Connection Target = F020

I am trying to remove speed limitation during video in motion.
I have F36 with idrive 5 or 6.
I have no problem to code other features with Esys cable, except video in motion. It would stop the video after the speed reached 39 mph or over.
Does anyone know how to remove it?
Thanks.

Pay for unlock bin file and you can have any speed.

Coding alone is restricted.

Will it brick the car?
Do they do it remotely?
Please send me the website.
