Hello everybody,

I just took delivery of my bmw 3 GT. I have it fitted with "comfort access for telephones" (don't know the correct name).

The problem is, that I didn't get an adapter with my car, there is just a plastic piece sitting there. My question now is, should I buy that extra iphone snap-in adapter? I already payed 60K for the new car and I was hoping it would come as standard....

At $200+ it's hard to justify the cost. Apparently the snap in adapter will boost your phones signal as it connects to the cars antenna but again, probably not worth it. Just get a 3 ft cable on Amazon and plug it into the USB. There's also some DIY threads on here where members actually removed the cradle all together which I'm considering. It's a waste of space if your not using the adapter.
