With everything that i negotiated, i might be off a coule hundreds but im sure of my mental picture, 60550 including the protection for excessive use

The mppsk include the midpipe also, and they tweak the ecu for more hp and tq! Mpe is only the catback section

Pretty much the price I got exect i got the premium enhanced and added LED headlights. Adding those extra comes to the same price even though i got the MPPSK at 4500. They took the discount from somewhere else I suppose.

I also got with the 4500, rear m diffuser, side skirts, front lip, carbon spoiler, carbon mirrors and carbon exhaust tips.

dKnight (or someone else), maybe you know this as I can't seem to get a straight answer - I know the MPPSK kit comes witht eh exhaust, mid pipe and tune, whereas the MPE is only the exhaust - what I really want to know is:

1) Is the exhaust exactly the same in both kits?
2) In the MPPSK kit there is a control value that quitens the exhaust sound in comfort mode, then in sport & sport+ it's louder, pops etc on decels. DOES THE MPE EXHAUST HAVE THIS SAME VALVE?

I've tried to get a straight answer and I can't seem to get it...

The MPPSK and MPE use different exhaust systems, if you have MPE and want MPPSK you will have to remove the MPE first. The MPE is not a valved system.

Since the rest of the exhaust and resonators are still in place BMW saw no need to make the MPE with valves. Whereas the MPPSK removes the mid-pipe/resonators so they made it with valves to keep the noise down in comfort/Eco.
