What happens if it takes more than 8 weeks to deliver a 335i

Came across a problem in ordering a 335i. They say it may take over 8 weeks from order to deilvery. Thus locking in a financial rate may not work in my case of leasing.

Can BMW extend the 60 days? Or am i at a loss for the holiday credit? and december lease rates?

You'd be at a loss. Best bet is if you can find a car on lot, or one that's already on a ship or w/e.

the holiday credit expired 1/2/2013 - I think you needed to take delivery before then to qualify.

My CA locked me in on the 28th for an extra 60 days which is supposed to guarantee my credits.

+1. The whole credit approval expires after 60 days, so they need to run your credit again, which locks in your credit approval and the rates and promotions as well. Needed to have that resubmitted by 1/2 to keep the holiday credit. My CA did this for me 1/2 without my having to ask. Car should be in port this week.

Per my CA the credit app is all that had to be in by 1/2. Friend of mine is getting an X3 and got his app in 1/2, hasn't ordered a car yet, and my CA said that's all he needed to lock in the promotion.

I'm hoping to pick mine up either this weekend (not looking likely) or next, so time will tell if he's right.
