I had the passenger restraint system error after I hit a pothole and the seat belt got stuck in the locked position. I tugged on the seat belt and it went back to normal.

i had a similar situation. With me though, the error was a message telling me steering system failiure. Went to the dealer, they programmed it away, no issues since.

They claimed a control module was not completely activated during delivery and thats why the error was caused (sounds like bs to me)

I do, piggyback, exhaust, intake. I've already had warranty work done with no issue.

What did BMW do with the Sport/M Sport lines that makes them this prone to issues?? Is the wiring that different?

1. Electric Fan
2. Transmission failure
3. Washer fluid level issues

Don't worry too much. Its likely either programming or a single sensor/module failure thats causing all those random faults.

The exact same thing happened to me Thursday morning - same warning lights and everything. Took my E90 to the dealer and the diagnosis is a failed junction box - it caused my wiring to not ground correctly and was shorting my entire electrical system.

Mine did the same Brake System Malfunction. Turned out to just be a Brake Fluid Level Sensor, took a few weeks for the part to get to the dealer though.
