Check the DIY/Coding section...but why on earth would you want to remove the dash on a new car still under warranty?

Leather dash retrofit? .

I removed the dash on my e90 for a navi retrofit. Removing the dash itself was easy, it was all the other little things you need to take out to be able to remove it that was the annoying part.

On a similar train of thought and hopefully not thread jacking too much, does anyone know how to remove the HUD?

Again, there is a DIY/Coding section in this forum specifically to answer this type of question...

Took the faceplate off, looks like the HUD is screwed in using a screw you can't get to without taking the top of the dash off

thats weird
when i took it off another members car there as no screw
you could try to see if you can get to the screw by removing the cluster
its only two t20 screws at the top of the cluster and pull out

that wouldn't work either, it's right at the top. I think it's a new version of HUD tbh, the trim looks bigger compared to how I remember my last one, it fits better doesn't creak (like this one:
) but the HUD wobbles slightly on certain road surfaces

This is the link - full of DIYs, which is where this post would get more responses:

Use of the "Search" button helps as well.

Yes, removal is easy peasy. Putting it back together and plugging everything into the correct place is a TOTALLY different matter.
