I read the manual and it doesn't seem like we can disable Comfort Access. When I'm drying the car, I'd like to disable Comfort Access temporarily. What are you guys doing to keep the doors from locking/unlocking? Are you just moving the key out of range?

Yep, same here. I have actually had the doors lock and unlock with the key in my pocket while rinsing off the driver's side door with a hose from a few feet away...crazy.

I leave the key in the car when I wash and try the car. This prevents my car from locking the doors and the alarm sounding as I wash and dry the car. At first I was worried the car may lock itself but it's smart enough to know the keys are in the car and to not lock you out. I did keep my iPhone in my pocket at first, in the event I needed to call BMW to remote unlock my doors. :-)

Same here, had the doors lock and unlock when I sprayed water anywhere near the door handles. Worse yet, had the trunk open when I inadvertently stepped under the rear bumper. Lesson learned I now put the keys a good distance away in the garage while washing the car.

Does it matter that the doors lock and unlock while washing it? They lock again if a doors not opened. Am I missed the problem?

It will beep every...friggin...time...you shoot water at it, touch it, wax it etc. I have the sensors on each door and it's annoying to say the least. Leave the keys in the car.

Hmm, I don't have a F30 so it could be different for this car (sorry for creating confusion ). I did change the coding on mine such that it beeps when you unlock...by default it only beeps when you lock.

Leave keys in car. It won't bother you anymore.
