Anybody else hate the fender boomerang thing they put on the new f32s?
I think the car would have been perfect without it.

I think the main eye sore is the model trim badge right above it. Do you really need the words "luxury" written on your fender? Although to be completely fair, my fenders have the engine badge there so I guess I'm sort of a badge whore in this respect

It should be painted to match the body color.

It's blown way out of proportion. I don't particularly care for it, but I don't mind it like some of you [pretend to].
A lot of times when a new model/generation comes out, existing owners are up in arms about anything they find and try to justify to themselves why they don't like it. It's ok...it happens in every single car community on every forum. |

I don't know if BMW was trying to pull off some kind of Hoffmeister kink with that fender vent design, but I agree. There's plenty of room for improvement, and I hope the M4 switches it up.

Maybe BMW will add a few portholes to their next model. |

Oh god, I never caught that first time along. I REALLY hope that doesn't make it to production models in the USA.

Quite honestly I think the old M3 thing on the side looks like a cheap stick-on ricer accessory too. Which it is when you think about it. It serves no purpose other than add-on visuals. It doesn't look integrated.

Do you guys realize the vents are functional and are there to reduce coefficient of drag and help air move more smoothly past the front wheels?
There are no Sport, Luxury, M Sport fender badges for U.S. models. |

That may be true, but my F30 had the "Luxury" badges when I bought it. I had the dealership remove them prior to delivery. I wanted to keep them as a keepsake, but they "evaporated" in the shop somehow... oh well. They're tacky!

Yes, those are the base vents that add a standard 12hp, but you can upgrade to the m performance vents for an additional 6hp and a new "enthusiast" sticker...
