New X Drive Models

It seems previous years for the x drive had a higher ride height and softer suspension settings than rear wheel drive. Looking at the configurator now, it seems you can get adaptive and m sport package with x drive, so is this no longer the case? It sux having to purchase after market suspension with x drive. Would like the confidence of all wheel drive plus faster acceleration without any compromise. Looks like you can get it well spec'd out for 60K MSRP, so not bad. (Meaning maybe you can negotiate around mid $50's)

You could always order the adaptive suspension for xDrive, but the static M Sport suspension is not available. I don't think anything has changed, maybe it will with the G20.

The Track Handling Package is available on the configurator which has Adaptive M Suspension, is the static m suspension better? When I test drove an X-drive it didn't seem that bad to me and I liked the better traction.

Adaptive M Suspension gets a lot of hate from people for some reason. Same reason that AWD gets a lot of hate too from some RWD enthusiats. To each their own. I personally like the fact that my car feels different when I use it as a daily driver and when I use it as a weekend whip. Wouldn't buy another car without the ability to adjust the ride stiffness for that very reason. I'm not always in a race, despite that being the mentality of many of our brethren :P

How would you compare your C43 suspension to the 435 xD?

Both are good systems...its hard to describe how they differ from a suspension standpoint. The best way I can do it is - if you take a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is super soft and cushy, and 10 is super firm and sporty....The adaptive M Suspension allows you to access a range of 4 to 9. The adaptive AMG suspension allows you to access a range of 2 to 8.

Sorry boss, can't comment on this because I haven't driven an F3x generation xDrive model without the adaptive M suspension. I've heard it's pretty soft, I'm guessing like a 3 or 4.
