How do I ... ?

After a week of ownership, hitting a few problems (and a week of skimming through the owners manual and still not finding my answer) .. I figured I'd ask the community.

How do I set both dual zone climates so that they're equal ? (and don't say just turn them until they read the same). I recall a thread on here not so long ago, but can't find it now.

How do I cancel traffic announcements to go back to the radio station I was listening too ? Manual says to press the right arrow (top right of the radio unit), and whilst this works a few times, I find it often does nothing. Is there another way ?

Finally, one I've not tested yet - so forgive if its obvious. I've not yet hooked my phone up to the car and made a phone call. I assume I can mute the in-car mic ? I don't see a 'mute' button on the steeringwheel/dash. Is it under some menu option on the iDrive ?

Other "How do I's ... " feel free to post ...

Andy

Traffic announcements - hit the "aerial & car" button on the left edge of the console. This will also allow you to disable them permanently if you wish.

Phone mute - it appears on the iDrive display in call, turn the dial and press OK.

Climate - don't know, as my wife never has her side lower than 25 degrees and I never go above 20!

For the climate - wait till the LCI F30 comes out, it will probably get the "ALL" button like the E90 did.

I like the Rubber band idea, but probably a BMW branded band is a £10 dealer fit option..... you could allways try the Max button they both become 16'C when you hit that

Does anyone find turning off the TP "mid broadcast" temperamental at best? Many times I've tried both the TP button (as described above) but the TP broadcast stays on. I've also tried the right arrow (top right of the audio unit) - same.

I really like to listen to the TP alerts, but getting seriously aggrieved that I have to listen to it when I don't want too lol

Is anyone else suffering? or am I one of the few listeners to TP ?
