same here in England, you can do the rears in whatever but the fronts are a no no with the factory tint it will take it into illegal, also insurance companies look for all ways not to pay out on claims, so if you were to have a accident they would not pay out under the term that you could not see properly

Legal limit here in VA is 35% on rears and 50% on front. I went with 35% all around on my previous car with no issues, but it was not dark enough for me. It really depends on your interior color and exterior color though, as a black interior with white paint makes it seem very dark. Also for cops, depends on the car and how much attention it draws. I know you can do something where you get a letter from the Doc saying the sun hurts your eyes lol, then even a windshield tint is possible to complete the look!

That's a myth. Lawmakers figured out long ago that a legitimate vision problem would be addressed with sunglasses. They also figured out that you can take sunglasses off at night, but you can't take off tint when the sun goes down.

Damn haha, guess I'll just have to move to FL where Limo tints are basically legal

Well got a huge rock chip right in my field of view, not fixable. Going to get the windshield replaced and will see how it is without the 80% ceramic tint. Got all my windows done at once so not sure how different it will look or how much extra light will come in. Not sure if I had a shitty installer but there were a lot of little imperfections in it and slices. the shop was very highly rated with few complaints if any. He said windshields are very tough and impossible to not have some imperfections.

I am thinking of installing either JB4 or Stage 1. Did you disconnect the negative battery terminal during installation, or how did you get around it? Seems it's quite difficult to get to the battery on the F34.
