Square setup 255-40-18 on 18x8.5 wheels

I would like to try it on my 2018 340 xDrive. The car came with 225-45-18 tires all around.

Will 255s in front rub? Will there be any negative or any other effect on the steering feel? Braking?

Will I need spacers? Since the offset of 8.5 is different 8.0

if the offset is +35ish it will not rub and you will not need spacers.

what is the offset on the 8.5" wheels you are getting?

I am running 255/40/18 square on 8.5 with 35 offset. No problems. No spacers. I think it's the sweet spot for a square set up for an F30

Any handling change compared to 225s all around. I assume that your car came as most xDrives with a square 225 setup.

It actually came with staggered 19s... but I got 18" 437 replicas as snow wheels, but loved them so much I kept running them all summer.

As far as handling, I enjoy the feel of 255 in the front. No complaints
