Question Coding one of my lights into an indicator?

Excuse the amateur in me that's about to quiz something..

On my F32 is it possible to code my current OEM LED drl strip (the one above the halo rings) into an indicator? I saw it on one of the latest 7 series at my local dealership last week and it looked pretty unique..

If you're still confused about the strip I'm on about, then this

Or would I need an aftermarket set of lights?
