2013 335i - Price drop??

Hi guys,

With now knowing the 2014 Performance Edition can be had for $63K and knowing the other 2014s are coming with the Msport package included with all 335s, shouldn't the 2013s that are in stock be dropping their prices drastically. I still see new 2013s for sale ranging from $60K to $68K with just premium package (b/f tax)

I sold my 2007 335 a couple weeks ago and am looking for any deal on a 2012 or 2013 335 sedan. I thought I could pick up a 2013 for around $50K but doesn't seem like it so far.

It doesn't make sense that I can order 2014 335i RWD with premium package for $55K plus tax but the 2013s are still more expensive.

Any thoughts, I tried last night offering $55K for a 2013 listed for $65K but the dealer wouldn't touch it.

What do I do - I don't want to wait much longer. Do you think the 2013 prices will drop a ton.?

By the way - if anyone wants to sell their 2012 or 2013 for a reasonable price, I would be interested.

from the dealer's perspective on that 2013 car you mentioned, dealer would lose $ (around $4K) and they are not ready yet to do so. If that same car is still sitting around comes December 2013 / January 2014 / February 2014, the dealer may have to entertain any offer out there (as the car is already 1.5 model years old)

Wow, that's crazy, they will wait until Dec or Jan while the 2014 are selling for cheaper? I'm guessing they have to discount by next month?

If you really want the 2013 right now, then you may have to up your offer to be at dealer invoice (which is around 8.5% margin). At least dealer still make $ on admin fee and factory volume incentive.

You just have to realize that the BMW sales have been increasing over the last many years and dealers know they will eventually sell the cars, if not today then may be tomorrow or next week, etc.

They are available to order currently, but the rates/residuals for those leasing/financing are yet to be determined.

Grab the 2014 335i with premium...new navi system, better resale and you aren't stuck with a colour you don't want. Comes out August no? If you are already in the price range, what's a few more dollars at the end of the day for a car you'll have for a while!

I looked at carcost canada. It seems the new 2014 335i comes with a new performance package which includes performance exhaust and performance tune. Can somebody confirm that?

You can order this package on a 335 or 435. Prerequisite would be M Performance Package I.
