I was told that if they modified an existing allocation that sometimes the website will show colors/options that were on the modified car but aren't on the actual order and should update eventually to show your correct build once it flows through the system.

This happened to quite a few people, they didn't hook you up, and your car won't have it.

Damn lucky you.. My car was stuck in the holiday shut down like yours, looks like you said yours completed 8/28 and mine was 8/30.. But you made the ship, i didnt.....

Yup. Happened on my order. There was an hour I felt euphoric cuz i thought BMW goofed in my favor, no such luck. the forums gave me a reality check.

i can tell you how many times i have seen people post that thinking they got something free

Add another EB2 to the tally because it's coming in in early October

Official-- as of this morning the car still has not been assigned a ship. And since it's been 3 days since they departed now I'm confident it's accurate. Unbelievable, this thing got to port 4 days before the next TWO ships left and it didn't make either. This has been delay after delay for me, such a frustrating process, I'm done with this.

So I gave up my factory order and located another one nearby. Picked it up last night, super happy with it! Pics to come soon (like we need more EBII pics, right?)
