Hi

Not for a 3 series but this is the best forum!!! My wife has a 1 series with the latest iDrive and today all of a sudden we can't move the tracks around whilst streaming Spotify.....any ideas?

Last week when we were using Spotify once on a play list you could skip forward or backwards, now there isn't the option...just wondering if it's an apple thing or a update thing....

Could be the iOS 11.4 update that came out a few days ago. Have you tried restarting the phone?

When you press next track button do you get instead list of tracks ?

Is that spotify free or premium?

Free only allows skipping 2/3 tracks then you have to listen to it all.

Premium you can skip to your hearts content!

It's premium....works ok on mine with the old idrive

I don't even get the arrow option it just shows the artist album and track...

Been in the car today and when I first got in everything was back to normal, got back in again after about 30 mins and I couldn't move the tracks forwards or backwards.....

I think it's just generally not very reliable, and it changes depending on iOS version. For the last few versions mine virtually never starts the spotify app first time, i have to go to radio then back to media and then try Spotify again and it will then work. Although sometimes it then won't have any sound so again i have to flick to radio and back to Spotify and then there will be sound!

Most of the time i just use external devices via usb and control Spotify on the phone.

Cheers will see how things pan out... got in this morning and was like 'yeah simple restart, sorted' followed by WTF?? Lol
