CSL trunk for the f30

I've always been a big fan of the CSL trunks. I was curious to know everyone's opinions between these two

https://www.bimmian.com/AutoCarbon-C...r-F80-3-Series

and the duke dynamics one

I ordered Duke Dynamics CF Hood over 3mos ago, have yet to receive. Just excuses about being held up in Customs...beware!

Why do people put these trunks and hoods on? I think it makes the car look cheap

This is in the eye of the beholder. Like all car modifications, it is an expression of yourself. Some people may not like them, but the CSL style trunk has been a huge seller all the way back to the E46 models.

I think the weight different of the hood is significant and I'd definitely get a CF hood for the F30.

Different strokes for different folks. A lot of people think tinted tail lights are ricey, but I don't judge people who like it lol.

I think the rear is a little boring in my opinion and needs something like the CSL trunk to make the sedan look more aggressive and the trunk lip looks cheaper to me than the trunk does, but that's my opinion.

I've seen the trunk in person (I took the pics that are on the Bimmian page). The trunk is super light in comparison to OE. I can only imagine the weight savings of running a CF trunk + hood.

I'm not the fan of the fiber look on the exterior but I would be in favor of both a hood and trunk if it were OEM and just paint it or get it wrapped
