After a 435d xDrive, Discounts available?

The cars not for me, a friend of mine has an Audi TT its done 90,000+ miles, he's a month away from completely paying it off and wouldn't you know... The Turbo goes!

He really likes my car (335i) and knows I got a good deal utilising the know how from this forum. However, I'm not entirely sure on the deals available for the 4 series.

Has anybody recently purchased or had quotes for a 435d xDrive?

Spec wise it'll be along the lines of:
Spec:
Colour unsure
Black Dakota leather
Aluminium Trim with high gloss black
M Sport Plus package
Heated seats
19" Double spoke alloy wheels - style 442M

I've checked Coast2Coast and the discounts coming out @ on the road price £38,550 saving £9,420. Will this be the top end of discount available or can we easily get more?

P.S I know about Tony in Croydon, Just after peoples experiences.

See my spec below - Ordered in October and collected in November. With options, mine was just over £50k. I got almost £10k off this from my local dealer and when I compared on C2C the deals were within £300 of each other.

£9.4k off a 4 series sounds very good, and likely the same as Tony can manage.

Recently bought one myself. Spent a while trying to get the best deal between a number of dealers. Discounts and support from BMW seems to be much lower than the 335d.

I wanted to buy from Tony, but didn't ever get back to me with a quote. I guessed it would be in the ball park of C2C as his other quotes have been.

Maybe due to buying in December, one of dealers offered me a choice of pre-reg cars with the spec that you are after. As I wanted Mineral Grey with arm rest, this car was still actually in production. End of December I picked it up, second owner but brand new, only turned up at the dealership that morning and with 6 miles on it. £36250 with sport plus, sliding armrest, internet and split rear seats (£12k off). I though that this was a significant enough saving for a pre-reg.

The 435d comes standard with a lot of stuff.

I do have an issue with the comfort though, that I'm hoping other can help me with.

You're getting very close to 20% off which isn't far of what I got - think mine worked out at about 22% (list was roughly £51k and I paid £39k) but there was a lot of work on behalf of the dealer to get this price for me - and I think I might have just been lucky with some sales target.

Basically I walked in and asked them that if they could do it for a particular amount (had already worked out what a very good deal would be on the spec i wanted) I'd sign there and then. I actually had to leave it with them, but a couple of hours later they phoned back and I went in to sign up.

If you're happy with the dealer and its relatively local I'd say take the deal as it is.

Not the same car I know but I got around 15% off a 4 GC so would imagine more to be had on a coupe, most dealers will match or better C2C / broadspeed.

Try Stratstone's, in the last 6 month I have bought a 335d M Sport LCI F30 and on order a 335d GT M Sport F34, nobody could get near them on price, here is a link to there website. I managed to get them to drop on their website prices too and throw in free servicing.

Not too sure on the 435d but I ordered a 430d from Sytner Sutton Coldfield back in October and managed around 15% off. Was quite difficult getting to that figure and I didn't think there was much more in it so I was happy to go with it but it does look like there's a little more to be had. I think at a push you could get to ~20%. TRL gave me a quote of pretty much exactly what I got from Sytner in the end so his figures were a few hundred off those on C2C. Still worth a shot sending him an email. Very helpful gent even if you don't order from him.

Which Sytner dealer will you be visiting?

Got 17.8% off 435d convertible - list £54k last year, got 16% of 435d GC list £50k ordered Dec 2015. Not as much to be had on 435GC, tried broadspeed &3 dealers all similar figures. Final 1% was hard!
