Just keep turning it. I don't mean to sound flippant but I can't think of another answer. It's not like a number would help anyway, you'd still be in the same boat. My last car went up to something like 35 before displaying MAX. how did I find out? I kept on turning. My car before that maxed out at something like 46 or something crazy. How did I find out? Yup: just kept on turning. When I got in my 330 with HK and cranked on some nasty Skrillex, I just kept turning the knob until my ears hurt. Then I turned it down.

So to recap:

Keep turning it and at some point either you will give up because it's too loud or it will simply stop getting louder

Fun trick. When someone gets a new bimmerfest set their speed alert for 37. Every time they get out of a residential neighborhood it goes off and most don't know how to turn it off. Funny!!

Unfortunately there is no manner to display relative volumes in BMWs. One of my pet peeves.
I think its on the upper right corner the info box. Your bars to your phone, the time, inbox, and in volume in dB. Or am i remembering things that do not exist lol. Its late. Will check tomorrow.

Does not exist. You're thinking of the track number indicator.

Pandora

I set one of the buttons for Pandora, helps avoid all the navigating to BMW Apps.

Today I was in the trunk and found out where the battery and fuses are! And also some handy tools like a screwdriver that has Philips and Flathead as well as the tow hook.

There is also a button on the trunk itself to open it.

In another thread I learned the 1-8 buttons could be programmed as anything.

Anyone else find other interesting/neat things?

Love me some German engineering!
I bought mine from Autohaus in STL as well My CA's name is Don though. Really great place. Their new facility is awesome.

Anyone else notice air coming out of the driver door window switches? It felt cooler there on the highway.

The glove box USB is only for export/import of profiles and for importing music onto the HD. You can't play music from it directly.

You can plug your iPod into the center armrest USB port and play from it, but you can't copy the music from the iPod from any port.

You can put your music on a USB stick and import it from the glove box port.

6) weatherband on ( after coding of course)
7) car ventilation
8). Looking for help on this one, does the system have a record a message feature ? You could perhaps record that friendly policeman when he pulls you over.
Tip:

You can almost double the number of presets from 8 to 14. Here is how:

1. Create a guest profile through settings.
2. Program one button as a shortcut to the guest profile.
3. Program 7 shortcuts in the guest profile, and one shortcut back to the main profile.
4. Switch between the two profiles, and you have 7 shortcuts on each, 14 total.

Lightbulb iPhone Navigation Over Onboard Speakers

It is possible to get iPhone GPS navigation prompts over onboard speakers when connected via bluetooth (mind you this is only possible if you have enhanced bluetooth).

In addition, if you are streaming music it will mute the music to broadcast the navigation prompt, very nice and quite polished execution.

I've also tried the same thing with my Garmin 2495LMT GPS, however, I was unsuccessful since it does not support A2DP via bluetooth. Any suggestions for a work around?

Garage List
If you have your headlight switch set to "auto", and the lights are off (daytime) you can make the headlights and fog lights turn on (or off) by hitting the fog light button. I found this works well on foggy mornings when it is bright enough for the lights not to automatically turn on, or for a daytime rain situation. Florida law requires headlights on during rain, but sometimes the "auto" setting still finds it too bright to turn them on, so a quick tap of the button and you are all set!

I just learned there's a little cargo netting in the glove box meant to hold the cupholder lid.

I like the design of the new cupholders with the little removable storage tray.

Agreed. The only two ergonomic fails in the F30 for me are: placement of heated steering wheel button, and the automatic windshield wiper light is obstructed by the steering wheel.
Agreed! I hate where the automatic wiper light is placed
