maybe its the fact of the electric steering i don't seem to like or the fact I had a xi prior to this car but I feel this vehicle is quite slow and lacks plenty of performance. Had the car for 9-10 months now and already have 20k on my dash. Any advice?

If its a lease stick with it and get mppk or JB4, if its a financed car sell it while you can. Residuals on these cars are rather low.

For almost 60k I'd say so. It's night and day to the 8 speed auto and it has plenty of roll in corners. And it's financed, I'd lose plenty if I sold it now no?

MPPK. If that's not enough, then stack the Dinantronics to it. 365hp and 420tq. You'll be good then.

Are you utilizing sport mode? I have a manual as well and in comfort mode, the throttle response is terrible and the steering is loose, I have DHP as well but when you put it in sport mode, the car comes alive in regards to throttle response and the steering certainly stiffens up. I have about 3000 miles on my car now and it feels like it is starting to wake up more and get a little more worn in. Also, seems like the car is kind of slow until the engine temp warms up, which seems to take a while in my car.

i have 20k miles more than you and I'm still waiting for my car to "wake up" , unless i get my handling tighter just a power increase won't cut it maybe i should of realized bmws is no longer special i recall when they weren't cars any and everyone can drive kind of like porsches but today they make everything to accommodate everyone not realizing the die hard enthusiast like myself are terribly disappointed a maybe I'm asking for too much out of this car but for a luxury coupe I'm not happy with it nor the sound for a twin turbo car, honestly Infiniti coupes sounds better than this 4

appreciate your efforts in trying to accommodate me ill look into the mods that won't void my warranty and see if its really worth it in a manual, maybe m4 is more my speed perhaps, my father boxster 2014 (manual) makes this car feel like a joke. mind you my car costed more.

Really? I smoked a Boxter (I think a 2010 or 2011 in my old 2009 N54 E92) to the road up to my house. The old man driving it was SO pissed. It was great. I swear my N55 F32 with the MPPK is a little quicker than my old E92.

RWD, N20, 6MT and MPS/MPE + aftermarket stereo…I paid a relative premium for my car so the gas savings running in ecopro or comfort is a non issue. The car is run in sport mode 95% of the time. A BMW can still be a BMW like you envision. It just takes more work to build it or for you to pay a premium to buy it and run it. Otherwise, a BMW is a fancy badge on a vehicle that many people can afford on lease or as a CPO. a BMW can easily be spec'd as a boulevard cruiser or a muscle car.

If for one second we stop seeing BMW as a snobby brand and just take it as a premium car manufacturer that's catering to a wide range of drivers/users, you'll see it's really successful. The "brand" of BMW means little to me. I'm just thrilled I can spec a car out that gives me the sporty drive I'm looking for and is materially better than me buying a VW.

lol keep in mind that wasn't a S and the 2014 are wayyyyyy sharper than that car and I'm not talking about 0-60 I'm talking about the feel, handling, nimble, overall fun. the e92 handling was better to me than this electric handling and you said you modded oppose to a stock car. these cars have plenty potential with a cool 5k spent in them additionally after driving off the lot that i know I'm just wondering if the power alone will satisfy me i need that sharper handling and less roll in corners. if i drop it 1.5" maybe and throw some michelin pilot super sports on with some spacers maybe that'll help. we will see

IMO, speed is secondary to handling and the driving experience. Bimmers are second class compared to the Boxsters/Caymans. But I still like my 335i for what it is.
