Does anybody know any good body shops in LA? Somebody recently backed up into my rear bumper and they made a little scratch. Don't feel like paying the $1200 BMW quoted me for a full bumper repaint so I would like to find a reliable shop that can do a flawless estoril blue paint match job. Thanks.

Yeah they fixed my e92 and my f30, both were rear ended. They specialize in custom BMW work, 1st one to do the 1M front conversions. Go there and you'll see a bunch of badass beamers there, won't go anywhere else after for any body work or performance upgrades. Ask for Long, he's the owner

I went like 2 weeks ago to get some springs installed and they had some pretty cool stuff. I'll be giving them another call. Thanks for the input!

Somebody hit and run me yesterday again while my car was parked, probably going to replace my front bumper. They hit me exactly where my other damage was except now there's more paint that is chipped and it has a dent and what appears to be a crack. Such a pain in the ass, I take care of my car like a baby and other people are so inconsiderate.

Spacing is the most important element of this OE Plus car. Absolutely perfect. Nice work.

Got an estimate from BMW for the hit and run damage: $600 to fix everything, which to me is a huge relieve because I thought that I would need a new bumper. Something weird though is that last month someone backed up in to me and left a 6 inch scratch and BMW quoted me $1200 to fix that (bumper repaint), but now, being hit in the same exact spot 2 days ago, there is more paint that is chipped, a small crack, a dent and some other damage and they are charging me half the price to fix all of that? Something sounds a bit weird to me here.

Can I get some opinions on powder coating my rims gloss black? Has anybody ever done it with the 441M rims? Thanks.

Not exactly what you are looking for but my buddy did it on is white Merc E550. Looked fine and was durable. Just go to a reputable place. I did this a while ago with my motorcycle rims and I had lots of chipping issues. I got them redone and no issues.

Not sure if I am entirely right about this but I remember in my Audi days people were saying that the heat generated in the powder coating process was not good for wheels and could actually weaken them?

Thanks for the input. I see and have seen tons of BMWs with black rims and I always assume that they are powder coated because they are gloss black, could I be wrong? I know they aren't plastidipped because plastidipping gives more of a matte finish and I want a high gloss finish as I think it looks better and higher quality. I am also leasing and I asked my dealer if powder coating was an issue and they said that it wasn't, so I am not really concerned as to how they are going to look like in the long run (3+ years).

Thanks.
