F32 on 19s - how is it?
I'll be swapping my F30 on 18 inch rims for an F32 on 19 inch M Sport rims (both with RFTs).
I've optioned the adaptive dampers to compensate but just wondered how F32 owners are finding the ride/noise on 19s, particularly if you have experienced the F30 to compare. |

Would also love to hear feedback on 19s vs 18s. I typically get SMALLER wheels both for weight savings and better ride - the slight decrease in grip always seemed like a reasonable trade off. However, for the 4-series, I've been hearing, anecdotally, that 18" cars are producing much rougher rides than 19" cars. That's an inversion of my usual experience but who knows I've heard of stranger things.

"The ride on optional 18in Pirelli run-flats is not great. There's a fizzing at the wheel, a lot of tyre roar and turn-in to corners is abrupt. By contrast, on the optional 19in Bridgestones the 435i is much calmer and quieter, with a more progressive turn-in". http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...up-review.html |

I might start a separate thread for tyres - we had one for the F30. |

Winter Tire Setup
Could anyone help me with a question. I'm new to the forum and new to BMW. My 435i M sport is going to be delivered in a week and I need a winter tire setup for Chicago's winter that is fast approaching. I would like to buy Apex EC-7's 18x8.5 ET 35 (per Apex suggestion) with 245 45/R18 winter tires I already own. Apex and BMW cannot tell me if these wheels will fit the 435i M sport with M sport brakes. I've been trying to get help from them for a month with no success. HELP
