Ran lines through interior panels. Install looks like burgertuning development car. Had a dud fsb first time. Terry sent a new one for free. Made 430/430awhp/tq on mustang dyno with 50 additive and 100% meth. Kinda sketchy looking up top and this was beginning days of map development. I leave the around 30 additive now with boost juice and run 3 gallons of e85 in the tank which makes roughly 95-96 octane.

No it's hidden in the panels. Never took photos since it's pretty self explanatory. If I was gonna do it over again I'd run it under the car next to the fuel line. Could of probably hooked it up in 20 mins doing it like that . I have dyno sheet of 30 additive which is 410/410. Numbers don't really mean much. The car feels better with less additive. Just cause I made more on 50 additive doesn't mean the car felt smooth. Felt very choppy in the upper 6k rpms. I also think the turbo is maxed out at 21psi. Which also causes drive ability issues when pushing the car.

i'm new to the f30 so knowing which panels, what clips to be mindful of, what harnesses go through where for ingress and egress from where with photos is very helpful on an install instead of going in blind no matter how self-explanatory. the more knowledge, the more power running outside is what i had in mind for a meth tank install, great idea! have to find the grommets and where it can cleanly be done. thanks again! |

Additive is the what the jb4 tries to target for boost. In map 7, boost down low is really mapped high from the start. The higher the additive the more boost you'll hold till redline. For example 50 additive will be 21lbs of boost till redline. Where 10 additive would taper down till redline.
Meth tank is in the trunk. Lines are ran through the lower panels on the driver side. |

Anyone did oil analysis after installing all the mods and meth? I just got my report and it seems to have more than normal copper (rod bearings) and iron. Also plenty of lead (that could be from fuel additives). I know that methanol causes corrosion, and maybe it has something to do with elevated iron levels?
