I bet they won't be making those (cloth?) seats available in the US though.
Love the steering wheel, reminds me of Z4 and Z8 steering wheel, which are just awesome.

South,

There have been some claims that Estoril II is simply the same paint code as Monte Carlo, just rebadged for non-M vehicles. Can you confirm or deny this? Maybe our old buddy BMWFleet could be of assistance here.

I can neither confirm nor deny it, but they look very similar in the flesh so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same color.

Best regards,

Alcantara seats = really nice.
Steering Wheel = kinda cool

Stuff that need to grow on me:
Honey comb part of upholstery
Blue trim on dash
'sunken' BMW on hood
Straight line across the hood (I doubt this one will ever grow on me)

Also for being M-Sport it needs to be dropped another ½ inch ...

Overall though, I think I'd get one of these babies net time around.

Cheers
If you think it needs to be dropped due to the pictures of the car live at the showing, you may not need to worry about it... I think they left the shipping blocks in the springs in that car. Looks unusually high compared even to a sport E90.

You've hit it. The steering wheel of a roadster doesn't fit a sedan. This car will sell regardless however.

Are the rear and front turn signals LEDs (as in LCI E90) or normal bulbs?

I am not sure but it seems to me that F30 has classic bulbs which would be a downgrade IMO.

About the 2012, I think it's going to look hot in person. Can't wait to drive the 4-cyl and see if it lives up.

You can also order the alu trim with a gloss black stripe instead of the blue one.

I like the aggressive front end and that the Nav doesn't look like an afterthought ala E9X

Thanks south. I hope we can get a firm answer soon. If it turns out they are one and the same, it might put and end to the "Why can't the M-Sport get Monte Carlo, too?" and "Why doesn't the M3 get Estoril when the MSport does?" comments.

I have looked at the paint formulations for you

Estoril Blue II is code B45
Monte Carlo Blue is code B05

The formula for Estoril Blue II contains alot more silver than the Monte Carlo.
They are definitively not the same

My guess from the formulations is Estoril Blue will look lighter than Monte Carlo in the sun

Thanks again, I guess we'd need to see both side-by-side to make out the difference.
