Uh huh.... Well I'll tell you what. Why not go ahead and sell that German car you drive and go fancy yourself a nice Dodge Charger or Chevy Camaro.

Run along now.

At least we know what we are dealing with, it's NOT an "NA Vette" far from it, that's where we asked to call a spade a spade
Guys, I get that this is a F30 forum and I am posting to see where my 335 stacks up in that 0-60 and mpg list, but we need to give credit where it is due.

I think what we are dealing with is F30 owners who immediately discredit the Z06 without fully understanding that it is. 3150lb is close to the stock weight with minimal fuel. 675whp is achievable NA without going too crazy with mods.

I like BMW a lot (which is why I got an F80 instead of a C6 Z06) but some of the comments on this thread are just flat out false. C6 Z06 really is in a different performance caliber than my 335, and I wouldn't bet against a C6 Z06 if I encountered one at a road course

Holistically, BMWs are better cars (not by as much as they charge), but from a performance perspective, American cars are not too far off. I have driven plenty for my job.

I still love BMWs, don't think I'll ever not have one, but new American performance cars are not like the poorly made, cheap interior, boats of old. We have come a long way.

There is no one trying to race an old Vette here.

The new Vette makes 650 hp, about 90% of that at the wheels, even that new Vette wouldn't bet against this modded NA Vette. That's why we simply asked for more details of this NA Vette so we could figure out what it is. Modded cars can make as much as 60,000 hp so if the intention is to insert your modded vehicle into a discussion throw the specs in there so we know what it is.

It's tough to discuss OEM setups vs aggressive modded setups and the results can't be meaningful. Which is why we are here

Stock for stock, a C6 vette (especially a Z) is on a different caliber than our family sedans (and coupes).

The new Vette with 650hp/650tq is around 11 through the qtr, the old Vettes aren't hitting 9s out the box.

Whether the new or old Vette beats the F30 is irrelevant. That discussion is somewhat closer to being reasonable if you are comparing an old Vette to an old M3. Even then I still think the two aren't comparable given one is lower and weighs less than the other

The supposed miracle car...not the one I actually built to race:
