Top view while parallel parking
Is the only way get top view while backing up to toggle the rear view camera off? Would love a way to see both rear view and top in split screen.

I would love to find a way to code this. I much prefer the surround view to the rear camera (I mean,really …it just shows you what you can see in the rear view mirror). It is such a pain to have to turn off the rear camera every time you back up. This seems like a 2018 thing because both my 2011 X3 and 2015 428GC had both views but it would default to the last one used (which in my case was surround 100% of the time). I'll be watching the coding threads carefully to see if it can be coded to last mode used like Auto Stop Start.
Edit: oops I reread your post and you want BOTH cams on backing up. I just want surround. |

Yup, same here, having surround as default like my 2014, would be great!
Switching is not a disaster but could do without the extra steps
