Re-release by popular demand!


Coming off the success of our HEX Tuning Software "Re-Release" last summer
for the BMW (F8X) S55, our software development team has finally been able to
devote additional time to progressing our ECU Software program for the (F3X) N55.

A great deal of time and effort has gone into further R&D and testing, both on the
dyno and under real world use, to produce a true DME Flash that provides impressive
power deliver on traditional pump fuel with improved consistency and drivability as
compared to popular piggy back devices.


Tuning with a purpose!

Our goal is to not only provide a competitive product in terms of power delivery
and drivability, but to help potential customers understand the value of a turn-key,
"set it and forget it" style of ECU tuning, with optional capabilities for OBDII Port
MAP Switching between pre-engineered "Stage Level" performance files.

This thread is meant to serve as the "epicenter" for all HEX Tuning discussion,
questions, reviews, dyno plots, drag strip and track results, etc...

To start the conversation we're posting our Product Data Sheet below and will do our
best to answer everyone's questions in as much detail as possible.

Advertised gains are based on low averages so that real world results meet or exceed customer expectations.

Advertised gains for HEX Tuning ECU Software is always based on run averages, never taking the "lowest"
stock run and "highest" tuned run in order to artificially inflate the delta gains. VF Engineering/HEX Tuning
strive to create tuning solutions that provide consistent and repeatable gains for all customers, as opposed
to "glory runs" or "aspirational numbers" that our customers may never achieve in real world / independent
testing.

All advertised plots are with 91 Octane fuel unless otherwise stated.
All before and after runs will be posted "Uncorrected" in order to demonstrate the power gains as measured
by each of our dynamometers without mathematical correction factors.

Peak boost pressure will be up to 14psi, tapering between 11-12psi
based on atmospheric conditions and safety thresholds set within the ECU.

Do you also have the Charts in SAE or STD ?
+1 if you can post those CF too.

Should reference at least those examples in SAE/STD/Uncorrected and why they differ and why you use Uncorrected.

Most fanboys here only know about Tuning from what n54tech/jb4 says, so they go with the STD charts.

Have tested any on 93 ?

321/374 is stg1 & 356/413 is stg2 ?

Do they have FMIC or stock IC ? if not do you have a car with Stg2 + fmic ?
