320i: Bmw build website error??? M-Sport Bumper possible??
Ok so I'm helping a friend build a 320i, he's disapointed he can't get M-Sport on it for the body changes... (There is no M-Sport Package)
So when playing with the configurator if you add the M Performance Side sill decals for only $240 it changes the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper to M-Sport? If so best $240 ever spent... Full M-Body kit for $240 lol *Note the $830 Front Splitter-Black also changes the bumper... Thoughts??? |

The web configurator always has a slew of bugs, so no - adding the side skirt decals will not get a car with the Msport kit.
The front lip probably is not actually an option on the 320 which would probably show up when they went to order and created the proper build sheet. There have been many bugs over the years, when I was building my F30 I could not get it to build a superman car because of 1 option that would blow the whole thing up if it wasn't done in the correct order.

Yes, I've noticed this to. Once you add the msport front lip, it automatically adds the bumper. My dealer said if its on the site, he can order it. I don't believe him

It is a bug in the rendering logic would be my guess.
I suspect if you had an actual order from the dealer you would not see the M sport front bumper on the list. |

My point was that if the order doesn't indicate that an M sport package or M sport front bumper is being added to the car than it isn't. Either way, it will be interesting to see what BMW does with the order. |
