Apex ARC-8 Satin Black 18x9.5 ET35 Square on 340i xDrive + H&R Springs

Hey guys, just wanted to share some pics, since I couldn't find any on this size when I was looking.

Apex ARC-8 Satin Black - Concave faces all around
18x9.5 square
ET35
255/35/18 all around - Continental Extreme contact sports.
no camber plates - Stock strut mounts.
no spacers on this setup below, however there is an ever so slight rub on when turning the wheel completely on full lock in the front. It could use a really small 3mm spacer in the front to be perfect.
H&R Sport Lowering springs
340i xDrive 6MT

Any rubbing with this set up? What camber? Fender roll or other work required?

No rubbing. No fender rolling.

Front camber with H&R springs was -1.4 left, -1 right. No camber plates, just stock mounts.

Thanks. Looks fantastic. Im about to pull the trigger on the same wheels. Do you know how close you are to the front strut?

It's pretty darn close! I would say 3mm clearance? I can check later. It also depends which tires you go with. I haven't rubbed yet though but i'll keep you posted.

Looks great and car looks clean! Thanks for posting! Gives me better idea of what I'm trying to achieve which is same car spec as yours.

I am actually in the process of securing Apex wheels myself. My tires on the stock 400m wheels went bald, so upgraded to Continental Extreme Sport.. so 245/40/18.. so nice bulgy look. When Apex are secured then it will 255/40/18 once tires go out.

The setup I am trying to achieve is.. Arc-8 in Anthracite 18x9 by et30

Suspension will be Dinan on Koni Actives.

the 18x9 et30 is actually a better setup to go with, I just went with this one because I found a deal on it.

This is almost the exact same set up I am going with. I am debating the Koni SA or yellows. Also trying to make sure the 255/40 will work without rubbing or mods. Apex recommends the 245/40 but the 255 is the perfect size for the xDrive I have

Sweet! I'm going with 255/40 for sure once my 245/40 wear out.. the Dinan or eibach springs aren't a major drop but eliminates enough fender gap.. so essentially more functionally than form.

Yellows are also on my list and Konis have a deal to get eibach springs and yellow struts for 850... all packaged together by Koni.

It won't rub and you should be fine!

Cheers!

Update:

This setup does rub EVER so slightly on totally full lock in the front. Honestly not that bad at all. I'd recommend if it bothers then go 245 or small 3mm spacer upfront.

Is there a reason why you went 18x9.5 over 18x9?

They do...I just bought the same wheels (same specs) and just slapped them on my f31 with an upgraded m performance brake kit and they cleared.

I measured the inner barrel as well before I purchased them and they were the same measurements as my OEM 18's as well at 17.25 diameter
