I like the way they (Swedish I think) spell "exit" better...

I really hope the M4 makes up for this in design. The E92 335is looks better than this. This isn't even a proportion thing when cars look better in person.

Freakin' f30 with 2 doors and a bimmerang. Yay. So excited man. This car totally deserved a new class designation due to how unique it is, and the completely untapped market demograph it will appeal to. NOT.

BMW has been deceitful at best in revealing this car in my opinion. Not cool.

Official: BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept (F32) Revealed!

Any one remember this thread, and all the hype surrounding the 4 series coupe concept reveal? A lot of well-intentioned voices saying BMW will usually does not stray far from the concept designs? Well, I can officially say, along with many other cautioning voices on this thread, I told you so. Nothing. Like. The concept!

No. The 3er already gets the M6 style steering wheel, when you order the M-sport package. The 4er will have the same option available.

The instrument cluster will be the same as the regular 3 series. Expect the full digital dash to appear in the LCI 5er this summer.

yeah, the c-class has it too. should be part of the premium pkg. This version appears to be like a modern line or something, so I'm sure the m-sport will have a different steering wheel.

I have 2 questions though:

1) What is that button on the steering wheel column, in front of the manual telescoping lever?

2) Why would production start in July yet the autoshow reveal not be until a fall auto show? Deliveries by september... doesn't make sense - just reveal the damn thing in the next couple months already....

My wheel adjusts to my settings when i unlock the car. It moves to my set position. It does the same for my wife's key.

The button is for heated steering wheel.

i agree. just release it already

Probably because there's no big important international auto show during the summer. There's nothing from NY auto show at the end of this month all the way until the Frankfurt auto show in September. BMW isn't going to debut any model at a small local auto show. They only do it at the big ones.

If I remember correctly, the E92 coupe debut also had a similarly weird production/debut timing.

Once they rip the wallpaper off it, there will be a noticeable difference between it and the F30. Just the same as the E92 wasn't nearly as stodgy as the E90. I just want them to start making the damn thing, so they can get to work on my M4 next year.

Plus one. Sure hope this isn't a bad omen for the M4.

I'm looking at side by side shots of the concept vs the camo and noticing how exactly the same the f32 is to the f30 and NOT the concept.

Someone should start a thread showing pics comparing the concept and these camo shots to see how stark the differences are. I'm asking myself why did they even spend the money on making the concept in the first place? Why tease us?

It's like a sportier more aggressive e92. I like it. Not feeling those side vents though. Whatever "purpose" they serve.

Wait, you have a power-tilt/telescope that is saved to memory settings? I didn't know that was possible in a 3 series.

i lied. confused the e60 with the e90. just my seat moves. for some reason i thought the wheel moved too. once you adjust the wheel, you really dont need to move it anyways.

compared to the concept... this just looks like a boring old 2dr version of the boring old 3 series sedan. Boring and predictable with a boomerang glued to the side.
BMW should just get in the business of building concept cars, going forward.

That "sport" badge on the front fender looks like something you pick up in the autozone accessory isle.

Is this post from 2011?

Ergonomically, the F3x is a step ahead of the E92. I owned one of each.
