The way the beam splits and seems to put perform the car in front's lights is epic.

So I can only conclude that stock LED's aren't good and the Adaptives where they are not working properly should be checked by a dealer.
Mine are the standard non adaptive LED’s
I think there was a thread the looked at the brightness of the stock LED's on the US forum and said they were weak.

I wonder if like the Halogen bulbs the LED's could be upgraded?

Don't high power dipped lights need washers?

But high power adaptives won't as they're adaptive.

So to keep costs down on washers they just de-powered the standard LED.

Given the 1er is going fwd and 6 pots will be a thing of the past, and the 3er is an increasingly cheapo bloated luxury car I can't see much chance I'll be buying BMW ever again at this rate.

Looks easy.

Now to set up on a flat road and tweak
Helpful link.
Adjusted mine today.
One and a half turns raised them a few mill using the garage door as a measure.
Will test them in the dark later.

Sorry if it's already been covered but do you carry out these adjustments with the light switch in the dipped position instead of the auto setting? Thought I saw something about the auto setting canceling out any adjustments
