Any deals on the F30 M Perf Kit

Hey Guys

My F30 is nearly finished should be at the dealers in the first week of Nov, I am really keen on getting the Full M Perf kit with 20" 405's, what is the best place to get them from ? Is anyone doing a 0% APR on the kit ? I'll also have a brand new set of 704's if anyone offers part exchange.

Thanks for your advice

Speak to Phil Ennis at Cotswold BMW, I was recommended him for parts when buying my car(not at Cotswold mind you) he has been very competitive with pricing, very reliable with quotes and all in a very timely manner!

I think a lot of people on here use him. I just picked up the rest of the MP kit off him.

I am getting mine from Cooper Reading (copy and pasted below) and includes the carbon fibre rear spoiler so would be very slightly cheaper if the standard Matt Black was ordered instead:

F30 full kit - £1,720 fitted inc VAT comes with the following:
Front aero kit in matt black
Side sills in matt black
Side sill decals with M Performance logo
Rear diffusor in matt black
Rear spoiler in carbon fibre
Front grills in gloss black

There's a reason for that though.

I've seen too many complain of mis-fitting parts etc.

I just don't think replica parts are good for a brand new BMW.

Just spoken to Phil, ordering the M performance rear spolier such a decent price. Might get it delivered to my dealership and have it fitted before I collect.

There's next to no difference in replica kits to genuine BMW kits.

The genuine BMW splitters have the same little gap on the inlets, it's just the design of the bumper it can't be helped.

Here's my car with Rep kit, can you tell the difference?

If it's any help, Sycamore Peterborough recently offered me a deal of the full M Performance body kit with 405s for 3850 with 0% interest over 12 months. That's for a F31. I'd imagine they'd do something similar for F30s.

If you do though, make sure you get replica ones. Before I bought my genuine skirts, I bought was I thought were some f30 side blades from fastlane styling on eBay. Turns out they are just generic blades which you have to cut down to size, and obviously nothing to line up against etc. Cost me £25 to send them back too.

Hey guys thank you all for your suggestions

I'll give cotswolds, eastern and sycamore a try tomorrow

I have also asked Arden, maidstone the dealership I am buying my car from if they would offer me a deal and also part exchange my 704's, the guy said he'll get back.

The best part of the perf kit for me is the 405's, I would prefer not to go down the replica route unless the price difference is very significant, how much does the replica kit cost out of interest? Is M performance the best place to get the kit from?

Valid point and can’t argue with that.

It’s mainly the front splitters that seem to have had the issues. All my bits are replicas. No issues with the sills diffuse or spoiler. The front splitter isn’t 100% but it’s close enough. Main issue is where the side blades meet the main body of the bumper it’s raised by about 2-3 mm.

Depends on where you purchase from.

The hard bit is knowing where to buy them from and being able to sort of they don't fit.

I know my M Performance kit is expensive but it fits 100% and BMW would sort.

The F30 kit isn't too bad compared to the F32 as it isn't carbon.

As above, speak to Phil at Cotswold !

He did my F32 (full MP Exterior pack inc 405’s) and can offer some of the best discounted prices

I could have bought the parts for £100 less at another dealer, but the winner for me was the low fitting cost and overall service I received (like courtosey car etc).

So much so that I had a digital cluster, MP brake kit and a full MP interior set off him haha.

Blue Bell Crewe do the F30 kit fitted for £1,200 (well that was displayed on their showroom two weeks ago), and have another set of 405Ms listed at £1,961 or Best offer on eBay currently. I got the wheels a bit cheaper with an offer, but I had already bought the full kit (unfitted) from them, less the front grills I'd already fitted, for a bit less than the £1,089 they list the kit on eBay for (sale excluding wheels of course). I did also buy my car from them, but I'm sure others would get a bit of money off.

Apparently they were bulk-buying M Perf items so could offer good discounts, although I expect the mark up on these items is huge.

Better still you can get 24-months interest-free credit using PayPal if buying through eBay (but borrow responsibly)!

Edit: ignore their eBay listing for £4,100ish for the kit and wheels....it's cheaper to buy the kit and wheels separately (and I suspect the listing is incorrectly priced as over £1k more expensive). They had a few sets of the 405Ms the other week.

BMW dealerships won't be interested in a p/ex though from my experience. But happy hunting.

When thinking about OEM vs replica, remember the OEM comes with two-years warranty.
