Freshly detailed Glacier Silver M Sport 335i

I would like to thank Mike of Driven Auto Detail. He always makes the car look better than it did at delivery.

Looks great but definitely agree on the exhaust pipes. I have the same ones and you can't see the ///M logo on mine they are just flush with the diffuser but I think it looks much better.

Let me preface by saying that this is just my personal biased opinion.

I like it a lot. Extra aggressive and clean (except for a few details).

Now the nitpicking:

1. Orange reflector and yellow brakes?

2. CF rear spoiler on a silver car, a little too much.

3. 19 M5 reps + drop, maybe?

4. Exhaust tips stick out a bit

No problem bro!

Well my F30 is doing fine...I had several mods planned but recently decided against it all.

Since its a first year model, I'm still facing a lot of bugs/issues that aren't going away.

My plan now is to wait out the lease and then hop into something better. Initially I wanted to buy out the car and therefore went with the lease and spent money on all the mods but I guess I'm not going to do that anymore.

I still love my car and have a lot of fun with it every day. I just wish it was problem free...

Thanks. Always nice to see a fellow Hoosier on the forum.

In person, the tips look just fine. It's a shame that the photos made it appear as if the fitment was questionable.

I have already had the dealer adjust the exhaust once (it was installed at the port). Initially, it was hanging too low (which is a common problem for the M Performance Exhaust on the 335i).

See my comment(s) above. Did you install the exhaust yourself?

Thanks for the compliment(s). Also appreciate the constructive criticism. I think you make some good points.

However, I could not disagree more about the rear spoiler. I think the contrast looks great.

If I decide to get wheels, I'm not going to skimp and put reps on there.

Regarding the drop, I have indeed thought about the M Performance Suspension.

Fair pointers there...

I know the OP is working on ordering a new set of wheels (MORR's or BBS) and the M Performance Suspension...the CF spoiler doesn't look out of place and I think it's pretty cool; adds a unique look to the car.

I definitely agree with the orange reflectors, that needs to be replaced with body coloured ones from iND.

The exhaust tips looks a bit out but that could be the angle of the shot. I've seen several cars that have the M Perf exhaust and they do stick out a little.

I am sorry to hear about the car troubles my friend. I know how much of a headache that can be. You remember all the issues I had with my first EBII F30 M Sport 335i? What kind of problems are you dealing with?

I also had some additional mods planned: BBS/M Performance/MORR wheels; M Performance Suspension; M Performance Side Skirts/Blades (I actually have these sitting unpainted in my garage ); etc.

However, I have been kicking around the idea of pulling the trigger on a local 2013 C63 AMG. It's "Polar White" w/ black leather interior. Fully loaded w/ less than 500 miles. It would be a smoking deal. The only reason I haven't jumped on it is because I really do enjoy my current F30 and I have invested a lot of time and money in it. We'll see what happens.

Wow! We think alike man!

I nearly pulled the trigger on a 2012 C63 AMG last week. The price was awesome but I wasn't too comfortable in jumping into a red car. Everything else was fine but the color; I thought of wrapping the car but the cost came well north of $3500 so I immediately walked away. Mileage was around 13,000 km's so pretty brand new...

I'm now eagerly waiting pricing news on the new M3/M4. I really want to go with a coupe but I feel the sedan is so much more useful. I also can't see my self walking away from BMW. I'm 25 but I've owned 2 335i's already so BMW is probably where I want to stay for the time being.

Another interesting idea would be to throw out a little more cash and walk into a 2014 Porsche cayman S...now that would be awesome! But then again, two seats is not what I can live with!

So I'm gonna enjoy my car for a year or so before I change it up. The issues I've been having is pretty much what all 2012 owners have been talking about and my dealer hasn't been able to rectify it permanently. I can't just keep visiting the dealership and dropping my car in every month.

Great minds think alike haha. Yeah I'm a sedan guy as well. I definitely appreciate the added utility provided by two extra doors.

The Cayman S idea is very interesting indeed. I have read nothing but good things about that car. But like you said, it would be hard to live with as a do-it-all daily driver.

It sounds like your car could be close to qualifying as a lemon? Not familiar with Canadian law though.

Beautiful car, and very tasteful mods. I wish they had M sport available in MY2012 i would have been all over it.

Easy to adjust, theres 2 screws on the exhaust sleeve that is used for the M perf exhaust, sometimes at the port they don't take their time putting it on and just tighten the bolts without aligning the tips. But in either case easy fix, if OP wants to crawl under the vehicle that is

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Definitely going to opt for the painted reflectors. I think that subtle change will have a dramatic positive impact.
