Well actually 5 times, if you want to count it D and 0 position. But I initially my car was on default factory position for few weeks, then I increased it to number 1, left it for another week, then I went directly to number 4 in hope that nothing wont go wrong.

Overall there is huge difference how the car pulls compared with Racechip Ult.

I really didn't have a chance to properly record my 80-180 km/h runs, but per some calculations, and crap mobile recording I was below 12 sec range with only me sitting in the car.

I'm confident with afe stage 2 intake the car will be at least half a sec faster, and I plan to do proper shooting once the winter is over.

Good luck guys!

edit:

I found one of the recordings which is acceptable to watch, and you will see that I start my run from 3.5k RPM.

If I did it in lower gear at much higher RPM, I'm sure the run would be at low 11-even higher 10 sec. Which is clearly 335i range.

I'll make a video from exact speed to 180 and share it. so we can compare JB4 vs. Racechip

On Thursday, I had my regular maintenance and picked up the car in the evening.

Lucky on Friday my TBS from AFE has arrived, and I have fitted it with my friends help on Saturday.

The car right now is completely stock with just TBS installed.

As I initially thought TBS didn't bring in any radical performance improvement or huge mpg increase.

At the top end the car is acting completely same as without TBS.

Maybe on low RPM range, it might be bit smoother and responsive between 1.5 and 2.5k range (maybe I'm just lying myself), and if there is any mpg improvement it may be by just 1, at 75 mph compared without it. But that also can depend from the road/wind and etc conditions.

So honestly not worth the bucks that you paid for it.

But at least I have found a perfect cup holder for my beloved M cup!

Oh btw, I just got my ODB2 Bluetooth scanner, so I'm going to give it a try after work.

Looks nice. Are the outlets bigger in diameter than stock? If so what are the measurements?

My car is still in E settings. Trying to find a way to turn off my check engine from the dp because i believe that if i increase thr RC it will get a check engine and i will not be able to read it. Really want to increase to F but i need to clear the check engine first. I have the odb2 cable and esys intalled (no token purchased yet) so i gonna try clear it with my pc first. I have access to a dyno so my plans are to check the car with no piggy back, only the downpipe and my exhaust and then RC. Let you know guys.

I have the obdlink device connected via bluetooth to my android phone and it works!
It clears the code but it will appear again p0420.
I gonna put a spacer or fouler in the back sensor to see if it clears.
Running RC in F setting now and if you use 93oct it feels powerful.

I will PM you the Dash Command and Torque Pro app as well.
The OBDLINK free app is great to read the temps and readings, clear codes too.
The Dash Command and Torque Pro is just even more fun, you will need to edit the advance settings and adjust according to your vehicle's specs.

Have you tested the 0-60 etc from stock RC setting and each setting above it so far?
I'm on 4 still almost a month now since its been snow weeks after week.

Hey ROBNYC , I planned to go 4 too, over this weekend. Just been very busy lately on work and weekend, so not finding time to play with the car properly.

I plan to push it this Sunday morning, and I will let you know the readings that I will be getting and 80-180 times recorded.
