In the past I've purchased a set cheap loafers in the past with regular soles...no bueno. They hold moisture and start to stink.

I now spend a few extra bucks on J&M and Cole Hann loafers that are fully leather inside. These guys don't stink at all...

I only wear those short ankle socks. I hate the longer socks as i feel like they are pulling out my leg hair all day. Not to mention they are ugly!

Unfortunately there is no way that I could wear any sort of leather shoes without socks unless I want to ruin the shoes in four or five wears.
