Head unit screen malfunction due to cold weather

Hi guyz,

My iDrive screen is totally white when I start the car in the mornings after a cold night has passed. It does not get fixed when I stop the engine and then lock the doors by the remote and then start it back. No good! All white! Any ideas? Attached you may find the White screen of death. Thanks in advance.

How cold are we talking? Mine worked well last year where my car spent a couple night at -30F. I'd be shocked if it was cold related.

Almost -10 degrees Celcius. May the cabling be shrinking? In closed garages this problem does not occur (around +10 degrees Celcius)
