Anyone else thinks the car looks a bit like it's crying in anger with the DLR's on non-xenon cars?

You guys should try emailing/calling Mod My 3 sales@modmy3.com for bulbs. I've gotten all of my bulbs from them and they have the best pricing/quality on everything. They also warranty all of their bulbs for a year. I asked them about F30 bulbs and they said that they have them in stock.

So, here is a picture of the car non xenons DRL, its like the bottom half of the inner circles...

I recently changed the high and low beam bulbs with Sylvania silverstar bulbs from AutoZone, it works perfect and its pretty bright, it's H7 bulbs and I did it by myself, all listed in the catalog, you just gonna end up a couple of bandages on your hands.

the thing that I really couldn't find is the daytime running lights which is a PW24W bulb and the parking lights which is H6W bulb, I couldn't find those to change, any luck finding them in LED?

Yep, those are the ones. Just make sure it's from a reputable distributor. I've purchased some that didn't haave good enough heat sinking and they died in just a month or two. (Waste of 60 bucks ) Happy Bulb hunting
these r py24w and they r turn signal lights, he is looking for the daytime running light bulb which is a pw24w. would it work?

PW24W appears to be BMW nomenclature. As I understand it, PY24W is the standard.

What matters is the base (many sites have diagrams) and not over doing the wattage load.

Well, I don't mean "hard way" as in the bulbs exploded or anything, they just don't fit. I purchased WeissLicht PY24W LED bulbs and they have a completely different base.

I'm having a difficult time finding PW24W on any website. Bimmian.com supposedly offers Xenesis non-LED daytime running lamps (XEN303DYY) but I cannot confirm if they fit or are even much different from stock as they are rated at 4000K.

Has anyone else had any luck finding an alternative to the stock DTL's?

Actually, the front turn signals are PY21W in the F30, the rear are P21W

Correct, PY24W are turn signal lights in the E90 and other BMW's. However, I was told PY24W and PW24W were interchangeable so I thought I'd give it a shot. But I was wrong.

I'm not 100% certain, but after looking at some photos I think PW24W is the same as type 3157. I'm going to buy one and try it out.

Just wondering if the 3157 Bulb work for you?
Just an FYI for all of you out there.
I have these H6W LED parking lights on my 2012 BMW 328i F30 on right now and they work great

Well, back to the drawing board... 3157 bulbs are not the same as PW24W. The 3157 base and bulb are about 25% larger than PW24W.

The PW24W bulb included with the car is manufactured by Philips but I can't seem to find anywhere to purchase an equivalent. It's unfortunate BMW is using such an unusual bulb format for the DRL.

I have them as parking light LED's.... NOT the DRL's.
The DRL's are 24W PW24W bulbs that I still can't find...
