I didnt see anything posted about this, but I was surfing the web last night and saw this. Dyno numbers look ok. Just another option for a piggy back.

I really think the AFE is a copy cat of the stage 1 JB or Hartage. The ones to look for are JB, COBB, and PROcede. We are lucky to have such awesome piggybacks. Audi's only have good flashes. Their piggys suck.

Yeah Im definetely thinking of pulling the trigger here on a JB. For the $ you cant beat it. Just letting them work out all the bugs and by spring time I should be ready to buy it. Cobb is nice but I just dont know If I could wait til the end of this year, thats just too damn far away.

JB is awesome specially the new firmware they are testing for stage 1. Stage 2 looks like its going to be a monster and there is even a turbo upgrade being developed right now for all N55 including the F30. So power won't be an issue. Nice thing about our cars is they are easy to launch compared to the DCT's and have 8 gears.

MAP and TMAP plug how to remove?

I just got the AFE scorcher and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the plug from the module so I can install the scorcher. How does the locking mechanism work so I can get it out?

Not sure to be honest. Look at some of the JB directions on YouTube it's should pretty much be the same deal. I didn't get a JB yet I need to though.

I got it installed. Was pretty straight forward and looks good underneath the hood. I couldn't hear or feel much of a difference, but my wife noticed it right away when she 1st sat in the car and could hear a difference.

Was looking at the JB4 Stage 2, Has anyone had any warranty problems relating to using this? Do you have to take it out anytime you go in for service?
I'm debating on ordering my car with the PPK or passing on it and installing the JB4.
Any thoughts?

No warranty issues that I know of. It just unplugs in 2 minutes and you take the car in.

Being that the PPK is currently on hold Im about to order the JB possibly the JB stage 2 with a catted downpipe.
