crackling noise from center speaker

I've noticed intermitten crackling noise from my center speaker when stepphing on the accelerator (pretty sure it's from active sound). Has anyone experienced this? No crackling noise when playing music.

I have bavsound speakers (not sure whether this is the cause).

I have, but it went away after a few hundred miles. I think it's the dash not the speaker

What do you mean by it's coming from the dash?

I believe it's the plastic of the dash that makes pop sounds. My noises are not speaker related since they went away. How new is your car? My noises were likely due to the new car getting used to being driven as it had subsided at 1100 miles.

Since you have bav sound it is possible the panels were not put back into place 100%. See if everything is lined up right and if it's not ask a BMW dealer.

We may or may not be referring to the same noise. I hope I wasn't a waste of your time lol

Oh the noise I hear is definitely speaker noise, like static/crackling speaker noise.
