New tires

swapped out the skinny 225 wide tyres which I found quite easy to have the rear wheel spinning unintendedly. Brought my new 19s to the shops to chose tires...I've tried the Kumhos KU31 and it was really bad in the wet but a decent dry grip tryre. Passed on the Michelin Pilot sport 2 which i've had in the past and in my opinion is great in favor of a new tire, the Conti SportContact 5 for similar price.

My oh my.. loving it so far.. really soft on the expansion joints and bumps.. too early to tell on grip as i still need to put some decent kms on the tyre. So far the $ is worth it. Anyone with 19's rims that want a real comfortable tyre go for the Conti SC5s.

What wheels did you get Tra08R?

The Conti SC5s are a good tyre. Unfortunately they cost almost as much as the Michelins. Between the two I'd probably still go for the Michelins.

I'll try to post a photo of the wheels

Have you tried the SC5s already? Its a relatively new tire I couldnt see any test or reviews on say tirerack or whatever. I thought I'll try it, as of now,.. it would be hard for me to go back to PS2s.. older tech vs. New tech.

By Michelins I meant pilot super sports, the true successor to the PS2. I've not tried SC5s, but I've had a set of PSS, and frankly can't wait to get another set. If SC5s were a bit more competitively priced I'd probably give them a try.
