BMW drivers

One example of why I resisted for so long. But now I'm old and don't care what people think. Driving it makes me happy.

Interesting... I can agree on the generalization about BMW drivers' "spirited" driving but I have never seen a crappy parking from a BMW driver, at least here in Bay Area.

Here, many people who park like this drive Hondas or Toyotas because probably they don't care if someone dings their cars. Parking this way would give me a heart attack due to the possibility of other cars getting too close to mine. Additionally, I always try not to park next to these driver (right/left doesn't matter) regardless of the brand of the car. This picture just tells me that this driver sucks.

Should've had that moment of clarity long ago. Fact is, if other people weren't such inconsiderate jackasses, people with nice cars wouldn't need to take drastic measures to protect their cars.

Frankly, other people can kiss my ass. BMWs don't make people act a certain way, just that certain people are more likely to be drawn to BMW. I'm known to be a little aggressive, so my brand sort of fits my personality better than others. I don't drive like a hooligan though.

Audi drivers can be a little aggressive also. Only difference is, the only reason they got the supped up Jetta/Passat was to say that they didn't get the BMW.

nah, this happens when there is an abundance of parking spots. they think because there are so many available, people would not squeeze in there next to their car. nothing to do with bmw drivers. bmw drivers are douches on the road, not when they park.

Then you see Mercedes drivers, in a base model, blocking spots in a packed parking garage...

The first picture doesn't look like taking up two spots to be a jerk to me. It just looks like a poor parking job.

A lot of people park like crap, doesn't mean they're doing it because they're proud of their car. I see tons of trucks, minivans, and SUV's either on or over the lines all the time.

It's that dang stereotype. Doesn't apply to all but we're all guilty by association.

Yup, the real issue is that the attack on personal responsibility and common courtesy has eroded the general population's ability to bother driving properly.

Driver's license's (and soon I am sure, cars) are a "right" don't you know? You don't have to care about other people or worry about being smart or even considerate.

There is no one brand or class of car that has an ownership base with a monopoly on this. It's society, it's not like people in rusted out 89 Corolla's with 3 different color doors drive amazingly better. lol

You coulda gotten an A7, so you didn't have to "settle for your Grand Coupe.

Douché? Perhaps, but that's usually also what losers call us Alabama fans. Why, because we always win that's why, and I mean win it all; best team of all time. People love to hate us because they just can't seem to do much about us, we just keep winning, and winning, and winning. Sort of like how no matter what, BMW just seems to always come out on top, even with the whining haters.

People love to claim to hate what they simply find superior to themselves.

Deep down, you wanted to join our little club to be like and look like us. Ironic; because no way in hell I'd ever buy a car I claim to dislike. You know, like the fact that I'll NEVER own a POS front wheel drive platform Audi. Ohh yeah, they also cheated and now those VWs aren't going to be worth crap. FYY, they also cheated on the gasoline emissions also. Ha Ha!

Feel free to get what you claim to want next time.

I don't know about you folks, but I try my absolute hardest to take up as many spots as possible when I park someplace. My personal best was just barely 5 spots!

Yeah I'm sure that caused someone to park that far over taking up two spots. Here's a tip, don't park in a compact section.

I think the BMW driver in that pic is just stupid or an old person who has no sense of parking spaces.

The Merc did it on purpose.

I don't even bother parking close to anyone..just park a little further and take a walk. Two spots will get you keyed or some other crap. As for spirited driving...well of course, let's just say i thought one of the highways said Autobahn
