Catching a ride out West

Anyone else at the port awaiting a vessel to the West Coast? Tomorrow might be our day. I'm hoping to board the Asian Emperor

I'm on this boat. It scheduled to dock at Port Hueneme on Oct 12th. I think I'd be lucky to get re-delivery in October due to wait going through customs clearance and the back log at the VDC.

I haven't been able to determine if I'm on this vessel yet. I searched the WW website using my vin# and I get "no record found." Am I not searching in the right spot?

I found out I was on this ship by sending e-mail to the place where I dropped of the car in Zurich. Suggest you contact your CA.

Yes... I've been going to marinetraffic.com. We are averaging 15.6 mph :-)

Oh my. I thought at least 30 mph. So I'm guessing by your call tag you got a silver car also. What did you get?

Actually I did not get silver. I fell in love with Estoril Blue. As a matter of fact that color is what helped me choose to buy a bmw over a cadillac ATS. My first car was a 1997 Silver Pontiac Trans Am so my heart always leans towards the color but I wanted something a bit different. How about yours?

I like the Estoril Blue a lot and did contemplate getting this beautiful color but I felt it was more for young people. I went conservative and got Glacier Silver on my 428i GC.

You think that marinetraffic.com website is up to date? I've been checking everyday and it seems like it's hardly moving. Based on the map location and the the pace it is going, how is it going to to get to Panama by Oct 6?

BMW of Visalia. I live in the Central Valley so I truly only had 2 options. These guys let me put in my unforgettable test drive voucher and set me up real nice. The dealership is only about 6 miles from my home so I felt like it would be best to go with them.

Yeah, I know. Makes me feel good it is out of European waters. I'm scratching my head trying to understand how it will get the port in Oxnard on Oct 12 going 17 MPH. Did you think I got bad info on the scheduled arrival date?
