Connected Drive not working

Hi Guys

Anyone experience the apps and connected drive stop working ??

Cannot get weather ,news or any of the apps to work. Car is just 3 months old.

Don't know when the actually did stop.

I tried them out when I had the car but had no need for them until last weekend . Selected the apps the open and the screen remains blank nothing then gets displayed.

Try this
Press menu button
Click on connected drive
Click options button
Scroll & select update BMW services click to update.
If the above fails to work, go into your connected drive account and remove your car and then add it back again this should work.

Tried up dating services and still app starts bt hen the screen is blank,

Connected drive store is also blank. Removed car from connected drive but problem still there

emailed connected drive support services and sent some screen shots awaiting feedback

Going to take the car to dealer tomorrow to see what they say??

I have noticed also that my digital display will not let me alter the layout either

Did you get any joy from the dealer or support services? My Connected Drive apps have all gone haywire as well. Tried the steps above to no avail.

Mine stopped working for about four hours on Sunday morning. May have been a connected drive outtage. Is it possible to get a credit on my car payment for this? I'm in the free period of my service but this should not be happening.

Sometimes they have just stopped for me, but usually just individual services and only 1-2 days at the most.

The reset procedure above looks a good bet

Mine went haywire in a similar fashion. Try (after car has properly gone to sleep) going out to car without your mobile. I don't know why, but when I tried the services without my mobile with me, they all worked fine. I'd tried everything previously (including the Connected Services update, holding power button for 30s to force restart, etc), and nothing seemed to work. Either the lack of phone did it, or it was a lucky coincidence!
